Infor Appoints Jean Philippe Pommel To Vice President EMEA Channels & Alliances

New Vice President Brings Strong Business Development Expertise In Indirect Sales To Further Expand Channels & Alliances Operations
Farnborough – May 13, 2008 – Infor today announced that Jean Philippe Pommel has been promoted to Vice President of Infor’s Channels and Alliances operations in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Formerly, in his position as Global Account Manager, Pommel was responsible for developing Infor’s new business. In his new role, Pommel will assume revenue and management responsibility for Infor’s Channel and Alliances program in EMEA, which accounts for nearly 20 percent of the company’s total business, and further leverage the company’s substantial footprint across the region to maximise the indirect revenue opportunity. He will work closely with the regional and global account managers and will report directly into Keith Deane, President of Infor’s operations in EMEA. Pommel holds an engineering degree in computer and electronic sciences from the National Institute of Sciences of Lyons, France.
Since joining Infor in 2004, Pommel has managed many of Infor’s largest industry and service clients within the global account team. He brings more than 25 years of industry experience from companies such as International Computers Limited (ICL) and GSI Business Management, passing through a successful sales management career during the last decades. Pommel joined Infor from Baan, where he was Managing Director of France till the acquisition by SSA Global. Prior to that, he was Managing Director South Europe with Frontstep Systems Inc.
