UK Oracle User Group launches voting for the UKOUG Partner of the Year 2010

- Third annual awards to take place on Thursday 7th October, 2010 -

29th July 2010: UK Oracle User Group (UKOUG), an independent not for profit membership organisation for Oracle professionals, customers and partners, has today announced its shortlist for the Partner of the Year Awards 2010.
The UKOUG awards were introduced in 2008 to pay tribute to the contribution UKOUG Partners bring to the Oracle eco-system and are a customer driven and publically recognised reward. 39 companies have been shortlisted across 19 categories.
Award winners will be chosen by Oracle users to reward the organisations that have given the best service and contribution to customer members over the past 12 months. Winners will be announced and presented their awards at the prestigious UKOUG Partner of the Year Awards Ceremony taking place on Thursday 7th October at the Jumeirah Carlton hotel from 18.30.
Commenting on the shortlist announcement, Ronan Miles, UKOUG chairman said, “I am always very pleased with the enthusiasm we see in the entries for the Partner of the Year awards and I’m confident this year’s awards will be equally as successful as the previous year’s. We have had many more companies looking to win one or more of these awards especially because they are given by members - i.e. their customers.”
Around 100 nominations were received and meticulously assessed by a panel of UKOUG volunteers who produce the shortlist, which is presented below for members voting. Votes can be submitted via the UKOUG website.
